The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
